Hasaana started with one question: what if skincare went back to what actually worked?
Every Hasaana bar is cold process handmade. Raw ingredients combined at low temperature, cured for weeks, with every vitamin, herb, and fatty acid preserved exactly as nature made it. Goat milk. Our Process
How Every Hasaana Bar Is Made
Cold-process soap making preserves every vitamin, herb, and fatty acid that heat destroys. Here is what happens between raw ingredients and your skin.

Sourcing
Fresh goat milk, raw herbs like Kuppaimeni and Nalangu Maavu, cold-pressed oils, and real fruit extracts — sourced in small batches to ensure freshness. No concentrates, no extracts, no synthetic substitutes.

Cold Mixing
Ingredients are combined at room temperature — never above 40°C. Heat above this threshold destroys natural retinol, lactic acid, volatile herbal oils, and vitamins. Cold process is slower. That is precisely the point.

Hand Moulding
The mixed soap batter is poured by hand into wooden moulds lined with natural fabric. Each bar is shaped individually — no industrial pressing, no automated cutting. Small batch by design.

4-Week Curing
Bars cure for a minimum of 4 weeks in open air. During curing, saponification completes fully — sodium hydroxide neutralises entirely, pH stabilises, and the bar hardens into the dense, long-lasting form that reaches you.

Is Hasaana soap safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Every Hasaana soap is made with 100% natural ingredients — no sulphates, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance, no artificial colour. They are cold-process handmade, which means no heat is used that could irritate or denature the natural compounds. Safe for sensitive skin, including children above 5 years.
Can I use these soaps on my face?
Yes. Goat Milk Soap and Nalangu Maavu Soap are both gentle enough for facial use. Kuppaimeni Soap can be used on the face for acne-prone skin — leave the lather on for 30–60 seconds before rinsing for best results. All soaps are pH-balanced for skin.
How long does a bar of soap last?
With daily use, one 100g bar lasts approximately 4–6 weeks. To extend the life of your bar, keep it on a well-drained soap dish between uses — soap that sits in water dissolves faster. Cold-process soap is denser than commercial bars and lasts longer than it looks.
What makes cold-process soap different from regular soap?
Commercial soaps are made using heat (hot process or melt-and-pour), which destroys most of the vitamins, fatty acids, and herbal compounds in the ingredients. Cold-process soap is made at room temperature — every vitamin, every fatty acid, every herb compound arrives on your skin exactly as nature made it. This is why our soaps cost more and work better.
Do you ship outside Tamil Nadu?
Currently we ship within Tamil Nadu and Puducherry only. We are working on expanding to other states soon. If you are outside these areas and would like to order, please contact us on WhatsApp and we will try to arrange delivery for you.
What if my skin reacts to the soap?
Reactions to natural soap are rare but can happen — especially if you have a specific allergy to one of the ingredients. If you experience any irritation, stop use immediately and contact us on WhatsApp. We offer a 30-day return policy — if the product does not work for your skin, we will sort it out. Does the soap lather well?
Yes. Cold-process soap with coconut oil and castor oil produces a rich, creamy lather. It will not lather as aggressively as a commercial detergent bar — that aggressive foam is from synthetic sulphates (SLS/SLES), not from real cleansing. Hasaana soap lathers gently, cleans effectively, and leaves skin feeling moisturised rather than stripped.
How long does the lip balm last?
A 4g lip balm lasts approximately 3–4 months with regular daily use. Because there is no petroleum jelly or mineral oil, it absorbs into the lip skin rather than just sitting on the surface — so you may find you apply it more frequently at first while your lips adjust. After 2 weeks of consistent use, most customers find they need to reapply less often as their lips begin retaining moisture naturally.
